Hafidh Huzaefa Siddiqui
Hafidh Huzaefa Siddiqui was born in 1993 Lubbock, Texas, and joined the Islamic Center of Irving community in 1999. He has been part of the Islamic School of Irving since first grade and joined the first batch of students in the Hifdh Program at ICI. In 2009 Hafidh Huzaefa finished his memorization of the Holy Quran under the guidance of Imam Nazim Mangera, Qari Abdelkarim Edghouch, and Qari Naseer. Soon after, he went on to complete high school, and in 2011 graduated for the Islamic School of Irving along with an associate’s degree in science from North Lake College. Now, Hafidh Huzaefa is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Neuroscience with the intent to pursue a career in Health. Furthermore, he is a part-time teacher at Tanzeel Academy where he focuses on teaching Nadhira and part-time Hifdh. Also, Hafidh Huzaefa serves as one of the judges for the annual Qur'an Competition held at Islamic Center of Irving. Along with being the Junior Imam of ICI, he has also been leading traweeh actively since 2009 in Valley Ranch, Irving, and other parts of the globe. He is fluent in English, and Urdu, and helped to put together programs and events for our youth at ICI.
